The CARIBSEA is a 46' Guthrie Flybridge Sportfisher built in North Carolina. She sports a full size tuna tower, 14' beam, 2 staterooms which sleeps 4 guests. Fishing Reports Aboard The CARIBSEA
12/23 Dr. Bunt and Dr.Tom along with their wifes released 4 Sailfish and 2- 35 pound Dorado to take home for Dinner. The day was highlighted by 3 large Marlin raises, with 2 being hooked, but throwing the hook after short fights. 12/24Jeffery Uhl and wife realesed 7 Sails.1-400# Blue Marlin along with 2 Bull Dorados. Pura Vida! 12/26 Dr.Bunt along with his wife Jennifer and Dr.Tom and wife Val were back for thier second day.There were lot's of Sailfish and flat seas but the Sails were not very aggresive and it was hard to get them to eat, but they did manage to get 5 releases to the boat and 1 Palm Beach release. 1/13/09 Kelly and Monique Wren had the boat to themselves with 8 sail released and a large Dorado for Dinner.

Just wanted to send you a little note about the Caribsea. We had the boat out on Friday with my dad and brother, whom had never been offshore fishing before. The experience was amazing. Great crew! Orlando was great even in not-so-ideal weather. We landed Marlin, Sail, and Dorado. It was the trip of a lifetime for my dad. Thank You. The boat is looking cherry. Fantastic reno job over the off season. Your two new mates, Jose and George, are awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable as well. We will be out again on Tuesday and looking forward. Hey Caribse-er's!

Just wanted to let you know that the boat looks great and the crew is top notch. We had a fairly slow day and still got 3 species of fish (Sailfish, Blue Marlin and Dorado). I can not express how pleased we were with our two days on your boat. My father, Gordon Wood, chartered the Caribsea for two days again Costa Rica, Quepos, produced everything it should. Great weather, calm seas, and plenty of action. The crew of the Caribsea is outstanding, and we look forward to our trip next year. As you are aware I think Jane and I have fished there 5-6 years now, and have never been disappointed. Your help on setting up the hotel was perfect, and your advice as to where to stay was right on target.

I guess as long as we can both do it, we will come to Quepos and fish, relax, and enjoy the people. Costa Rica is great, see you next year, Pura Vida!!!
